 Ingredients

  • Mashroom
  • Onion (medium size) 5
  • Tomato (Large) 1 
  • Vegetable oil 
  • Garlic cloves 8
  • Ginger 11/2  inches
  • Garam masala 1 tbsp
  • Coriander powder 1/4 tbsp
  • Red chilly powder 1/2 tbsp
  • cumin powder 1/4 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/4 tbsp
  • Cloves 2
  • Cinnamon stick 1 inch
  • Cardamom 2
  • Coriander leaves 

Preparation 

Step 1 : Take 4 onions and grind to paste and take out in a bowl.
Step 2 : Make a fine paste of garlic and ginger together.
Step 3 : Take 1 onion, dice it into 4 parts and separate layers. 

Step 4 : Place a pan on medium flame and add some vegetable oil, let the oil become hot enough. 
Step 5 : Add layers separated onion in pan and saute until it becomes transparent and take it out in a bowl.


Step 6: In that same pan add 1 tea spoon of oil, add diced mashroom when oil becomes hot. Saute for 2 minutes.


How to make Mashroom Do Pyaza

Step 1: Place a pan over medium flame and heat vegetable oil.
Step 2: Add cloves, cumin seeds, cinnamon stick and cardamom in hot oil and Saute for 30 seconds.

Step 3: Pour ginger garlic paste into pan and saute for 2 minutes.

Step 4: Now add onion paste into pan and saute until it becomes light golden.



Step 5: Add salt to taste and chopped tamato, saute until tomato softens.


Step 6: Add garam masala, coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder and red chilly powder all together and mix them properly.

Step 6: Cook for at least 3 minutes over medium to low flame so that spices can add flavor.
Step 7: Pour 1 cup water to make semi dry gravy and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Step 8: Now add sauteed mashroom and onion in gravy and cook for 3-5 minutes. 



Step 9: Take out Mashroom Do Pyaza in serving bowl and garnish it with coriander leaves. 


Step 10: Now it is ready, serve Mashroom Do Pyaza with chapati, puri or paratha.
